Camp Bentzon

On Term four week four 2011 all the year sixes went to camp including me, we were going to an Island called Cowau Island. First we all went on a bus for about half-an-hour. After that we got off the bus and we went on a boat ride for one hour, along the way we saw dolphins, fishes, stingrays and some other under water creatures,

then we got off the boat and went on a very long hike, finally we reached our camping spot.

My favorite part of camp was building our own raft, we had to make it out of three really big blue bottles and some long medium sized woods. when we had finished making it my group and me, we all went in the water with it but suddenly on half way it broke down. Then we all laughed (ha ha ha ha).

My highlight of camp was, going for a nice and enjoyable swim after we arrived at our camping spots, going kayaking was awesomely great, going sailing on nice sunny day and last but not least doing all the fun activities with all the other kids at camp, it was really fun and awesome.

On the last day of camp, we already packed our stuffs away and played some fun games like touch, cricket, kicks and some many more. Sadly when boat came along we had to get on the boat, get on the bus and head home

The poor honest man

Once upon a time, there lived a very poor man with his wife in a dark forest. To get food, they had to cut woods, sale the woods to people and buy food. They were very poor, that they cut the woods with an ax that was made out of a piece of wood and a rock. One day, while he was cutting tree, then he saw one and also there was wells underneath it. He climbed the tree and started cutting it, suddenly the ax fell in the wells. After that he cried a lot and said to himself “now, how am I ever going to get food”. Then an angel came from the wells and said “ oh poor man why are you crying”? He told her all about it, then the angel went back into the wells and brought an ax, that was shinning beautifully and it was made out of gold and the poor man said that ax is not mine, then, she went back into the wells, and this time she brought an ax that is made out of diamond, the poor man still said no that ax is not mine, finally at last, she brought the ax that was made out of a piece of wood and a rock, than he said yes. After that the angel gave those two other axes to the poor man as awards for telling the truth, and they lived gratefully ever after.

The old lady and the 2 animals

Once upon a time, there was a very dark forest, where even the sunlight couldn’t reach the ground. On the right side of the forest there was a village, and there lived an old woman and on the left side of the forest, there was another village, where her daughter lived. When ever she feels alone she goes to visit her daughter. One day, while she was going to visit her daughter, a tiger came along the way and said to her I AM GOING TO EAT YOU with a loud ROAR! The old woman said, how can you eat me, what I meant to say was that I am and old woman I only got bones inside me, anyways, you won’t enjoy eating me, I am just going to my daughter’s house, and I will eat lots of food then when I come back you can enjoy eating me. The tiger and the old woman had a good deal. Then off she went to her daughter’s house. While she was walking a fox came along. The fox said I AM GOING TO EAT YOU with a loud NOISE! The old woman said the same thing just like she did to the tiger, and off she went to her daughter’s house. When she arrived at her daughter’s house, she ate some foods and she was also feeling worried, then her daughter asked, why she was feeling worried. She explained her everything. Her daughter had an idea, after a while she hallowed a big pumpkin and her mother went inside it, then she went back to her house but along the way the fox asked her have you seen an old woman and she said no, then the fox followed her. Then off she went but along the way the tiger asked her have you seen an old woman and she said no, and then she bumped into a rock and fell out of the pumpkin. The tiger said I am going to eat her then the fox said no I am going to eat her head, they argued, then they had a fight while the old woman went home safely.

Legend

There once was a boy named Legend, and he lived in a land called Spartacus. His mother died when he was two years old, before she died she gave him a special necklace, that had the ability to hide him away and keep him safe from goblins, monster and evil magical things. His father once was a king of the jungle and his army was trained for to be a true warrior of Spartacus. But one day goblins came and destroyed their village on that day his mother forgot to wear the magic golden necklace, and that's when she died and gave the necklace to Legend which was her son.Only his father and him were the last two survivor in that village and sadly, all the others were dead. After his mother died he promised to himself that he would take revenge from the goblins for the sake of his mother death.

25 years had already past, and his father turned him into a man that is more better than a warrior. One night when Legend and his farther were sleeping, monsters came, took legend away, to their castle, locked him with strong metal chains and put him in a cage. Then the magic golden necklace broke the metal chain and broke the lock then made him invisible so the goblins can’t see him and he killed the goblins one by one. Then he saw the one that killed his mother, he was so angry that his hole face turned red and he was the only one that could see him even if he is invisible but he still succeeded to kill him. Then his farther and him lived greatly ever after.
