SOLAR SYSTEM

Hey, have you encountered a fact about a planet from our solar system. Well, here are some bunch of facts that you would like to discover. I am only going to tell you Mars First lets talk about Mercury. You know Mercury is the closest planet to the sun and the smallest, right? Well, do you know that in the years of BC (Before Christ) it was called the morning star and the evening star. Some scientists believe that Mercury might have had a moon but the sun’s gravity pulled it self and than it was disintegrated(burnt) out to the ashes by the heat. One day on Mercury last 59 days and 15 hours on earth, the diameter of Mercury is 4 879 km.
Venus is the hottest planet and the second planet away from the sun. Venus has been known since the prehistoric times and still is now. Aphrodite is the goddess of beauty and love and it’s the roman name for Venus, you could see Venus without a telescope every night because it is the second brightest thing in our solar system, also it looks like a star in our dark night. The diameter of Venus is 12 103.6.
Earth is the perfect planet in our solar system and it’s the third planet away from the sun. Earth is not too far away from the sun and no too close, it is just on the perfect spot. The oxygen on earth is about 12.9 quintillion metric tons. Many scientist says that earth and Venus are brothers and sisters. Gaia is the roman goddess name of earth. Earth is distance away from the sun is 149 600 000 km, and it’s diameter is 12 756. Most importantly earth is an unique planet.

Mars is the fourth planet away from the sun, which means it’s close to the earth. Actually Mars look red but it’s blue because the clouds blocks the blue color, it has water in the north and south poles. It also has the biggest mountain, it’s called Olympus Mons. Mars is really cold because it is far away from the Sun, Mars diameter is 6 794.
