The story of Medusa and Precious (Greek Mythology)

Along time ago in the land of ancient greek, there lived a king named king Polidicti. There also live a brave strong person called Percius. The thing was that, the king fell in love with his mother and he didn’t want that to happen, as well as his mother, but the king still wanted to marry her, but he was afraid of percius, so he sent him on a quest to chop of Medusa’s head and return it to him.

As he was on his quest to Medusa’s lair three gods appeared and gave him a shield, a sword, a bag and a pair of flying shoes, meanwhile Medusa and three witches were having a tea party. The three witches could only look with one eye, anyway, as he arrived there he saw lots of people that had came before and turned into stone and he was very scared. Then a god appeared and said “ why do you think this shield was for, it has a mirror on it, then he disappeared.


He saw Medusa saying goodbye to the witches so he hid behind a rock and as soon as Medusa came out he tried to chop her head off, but he missed. Medusa also tried to kill him by turning him into a stone but he used the shield which made Medusa weeker. They kept fighting and fighting, then at last he chopped off Medusa's head and returned it to the king.
