Repost Of The Olympic Rings

The London Olympic began a few days ago, providing excitement for all sport enthusiasts everywhere.   In the midst of of this excitement, I wondered to myself, "what do the Olympic rings represent? Why are they there?" If you don't know, you might be interested to know what I have recently discovered.

The five rings symbolize five continents in the world and they are Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania. At least one of these colours are on each flag in the world. The rings are Interlocked to represent the peace throughout the world and that they want world peace. Also When coming together and doing world sports it brings happiness to one another.

The original owner of the olympic rings were designed in 1912 by a person called Baron Pierre de Coubertin. He created them because he wanted to include every country in the olympics that's why every flag has at least one of the ring’s colors.

Cool Animals

Have you ever seen some really cool animals? Well, if you haven't you might be interested at looking at some. I going to tell you about three, really freaky animals.

This first freaky animal is a fish and it’s called a “angler.” Female anglers have
fishing pole on the top of their heads. At the end of the pole, there is a glowing blob, called an esca. They brings it in front of their mouths so they can see much better when a fish goes by. The sly angler fish whips the esca away and opens its huge mouth, then their pointed, long teeth
slam shuts on its prey.

This second animal is called an “axolotls”. Axolotls may look like a fish, but they are not at all. They are amphibians like frogs are, axolotls are larvae, similar to the tadpole stage in a frogs life cycle. Like some kind of newts and salamanders, axolotls never changes into adults. They breathe through gills as long as they live. Although they have fins, they never swim, they actually walk in the water.

This last animal is called an “armadillo.” Armadillos have very poor eyesight but they have good sense of smell and long claws to dig. Not all armadillos can roll up into a ball because there are many varieties of armadillos, only three kinds of them can. The others, they have a very hard shell to protect them from getting hit by prickly bushes, to hide from predators they dig holes with their sharp, longs claws and hides in there.

I hope you enjoyed reading this and are having a great time.

The Exciting Holidays

It was EXCITING! Fun, family and friends. I’m talking about the holidays folks. We went to different places and done different things, but the best part of it was... We enjoyed it A LOT!

The first place that we went was the Point England Reserve then the city, the sky tower and Mission Bay. The things that we did were, we swam at Point England reserve, we saw the tall buildings in the city, we looked at the views from the sky tower and had a picnic at Mission bay.

After all the enjoyment, my mom said, “it’s getting dark, we should go,” “I agree” replied dad. Then we went home and went to bed.

Like all the olympians, I have a goal of my own, and that is to be the most complete taekwondo fighter, because I really love it. I hope I achieve it, and be on television one day as the best taekwondo fighter.

To achieve this goal, I have to work harder, harder and harder also never give up because thats how you become a champion. I also have to practice, practice, practice to make it perfect.

I hope you enjoyed reading this and have a great day.
