Facts About Freaky Animals

Hi there, are you interested in knowing some really cool facts about freaky animals? Well, if you are, you might want to see this. I am going to talk about 3 freaky animals, and they are, an Aye-ayes, a Babirusas and a hagfish.


AYE-AYE


An aye-aye always hunts at night time. It’s main food it insects from the forest of Madagascar. Like woodpeckers, aye-ayes tap on trees to find their food. The difference is that they tap with their long, thin,third finger. Dull thuds means there are insect inside, then they gnaw a hole in the wood, and poke in a finger and pulls their dinner out.


BABIRUSAS


Babirusas are wild pigs found on the tropical island of Indonesia. Unlike other pigs, males grow tasks upper and lower jaws. During mating season, the males fight other males to win the females. The males babirusas stand up on their rear legs and jabs upward with their lower tasks.


HAGFISH


Hagfish is an eel that doesn’t produces electricity like other eels, but it does produce lot’s of slime. The longest hagfish is as long as 127 cm long and the smallest is 4 cm long. There are about 67 different species of hagfish, and they're all really weird. Hag fishes lives at the bottom of the ocean, inside rocks.
